Three Wisemen
Artist: Sue Burkhart Chisholm

No two wiseman are exactly alike. Each piece has its own personality by the way the head tilts and the way the clay is draped, or the patterns made by the “treasured texture tools handed down from our family”. Cut from handmade templates the pieces are individually textured and shaped. Each piece carries with it an imprint of found objects dating back to the 1800’s. It’s a simple elegant design influenced by the past.

Each piece selected in this list has an incredible story that started in the hands of the artist and will continue on with it’s owner. These pieces will outlast any trend.  As a matter of fact, they will last a lifetime.
