Beth Mueller spends most of each day working in her ceramics studio a mere half-mile away from her home. This is important to the artist, whose work exemplifies the essence of home.
From the beginning, Beth aimed for sophisticated results, yet didn’t want to use cadmium, lead, or other toxic chemicals. Using a combination of expert advice and endless hours of experimentation, Mueller developed a line of pieces with clear honest messaging and safe processes and materials.
Mueller’s goal is to create objects like those she remembers from her Indiana childhood—the quilts and yarns and beautiful bottles she found on her grandmother’s farm.
