Not Your Average Trunk Show

Next week, Friday and Saturday to be exact, we are branching out, trying something new, experimenting a bit.  Becky and I are often asked (Becky more than me) where we buy the clothes we are wearing when we host events.  Truth is, often times, we are wearing something we purchased at a small in home boutique called AllatiaJane.

Last year I was introduced to the “Jane” in AllatiaJane.  We connected instantly and were quickly brainstorming business ideas and partnership opportunities.  Our philosophy around business and the brands (in her case) and artists (in my case) are exactly the same.  We connect with the person behind the work, learn their story, listen to their inspiration and genuinely want to do what we can to help them succeed.  When I asked Jane about her favorite line she referenced one that they have carried from the very beginning…Angelrox.  Jane shared with me that when she met Roxi Sugar, the designer and brainchild behind Angelrox, she instantly loved everything about her…her story, her passion and most of all her product!  She’s super talented and makes a product that looks awesome on all people.  And the best part, it’s handmade right here in the USA.
So while it took us well over a year to pull this off…this is our first collaboration.  A trunk show, a clothing trunk show, hosted inside of TallulahBelle’s.  If it’s a success, who knows, maybe we will make this a seasonal tradition.  AND, if no one shows up, well, Allatia, Jane, Becky and I will eat all the snacks and drink all the cocktails.   I am confident you will not let that happen!  See you next week.
