All of Laura’s life she has loved the little things: little boxes, pens, stickers, a new notebook, and above all she loved a great story. She began writing her own stories at an early age, and in college majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Laura ended up minoring in photography, and once she graduated, she dabbled in both mediums for several years until she gave birth to her first child. Today, she is still inspired by those boxes and the simple pleasures but especially by her children. Her current work includes fusing, forging, raising and stone setting in Argentium silver, sterling silver, 14 karat rose gold, copper and rose, green and black gold plated and vermeil components. She strives to create depth and motion with an organic origin and combine soft edges with traditional industrial techniques.
